Storage One is dedicated to providing you the best possible service. Here are some typical questions that have been asked by our customers.

1) What is the minimum time for which I can sign a lease?
All leases are on a month-to-month basis, meaning no long-term contracts and no long-term commitment is necessary.

2) How far in advance can I book a reservation?
All units are first-come first-serve. Reservation valid for a seven-day maximum, if 5 units or more are available.

3) How much notice to must be given when I move out?
We require 10 day's notice to move out and ask that you fill in our Vacate Form. Details on the vacating policy will be provided for you at the time of Move-In.

4) What forms of payment do you accept?
Storage One strives to offer our customers as many payment options as possible. You can pay online with your Mastercard®, Visa®, Discover®, or American Express®. You can pay in the office with cash or credit card. You can also send a money order to our facility. Additionally, we can keep your information on file and automatically charge your Credit Card  each month.

5) Can I pay my bills online?
Yes, you can. Please visit your individual location page to access online bill payment.

6) Are there limited times that I can get to my unit?
Click here and choose your Storage One location to check office and gate hours (if applicable).

7) Do you move your tenants?
Storage One is not a moving company. We do not actually move our tenants. However, we do maintain relationships with moving companies.

8) Can I purchase boxes and packing supplies at Storage One?
All of our properties carry a variety of boxes, locks, and packing supplies to make your move easier.

9) How do I calculate how much storage space to rent?
Our Storage One professionals can assist you in determining the right size unit. Just give us a brief description of what you will be storing, and we can help you make the appropriate determination. 10) Do I get a lock when I rent a unit?
You can purchase a new lock at any of your local Storage One facilities. We require Disc Locks to ensure the highest level of security.

11) Where are the Storage One Facilities Located?
We have facilities in Clio, MI  - Waterford, MI.

12) What type of security do you have on-site?
Storage One prides itself on providing state-of-the-art security for its tenants. Some locations have surveillance cameras in strategic locations throughout our properties. For more information call a location nearest to you.

13) Can anybody drive onto this property or do you need a PIN number?
Some of our facilities have computer-controlled gate access systems that restrict access to only those who input their individualized gate access code. For more information call a location nearest to you.

14) What is the difference between an indoor and outdoor unit?
An outdoor unit has direct drive-up access from outside, like a garage door. An indoor unit is accessed from an interior hallway inside one of our storage buildings.

15) What is a roll-up door?
Roll-up doors are accessed by sliding a latch and lifting the door upward, similar to the motion of a manual garage door. Roll-up doors allow you to maximize the usage of your space.

16) Do you offer RV/boat parking?
Storage One has outdoor RV/Boat parking at most locations. You can contact your local Storage One professional for availability.
